This 2013 Yang Qing Hao Tai He goes for $800.00 for 500g or $1.60/g.
Dry leaves have a honey like odour and dry cardboard.
First infusion is a bright tingling watery bitter with long creamy candy finish. Chalky fluffy mouthfeel with tangerine peach nuances. Long long candy finish. Chest bubbling.
Second is left to cool and comes out a creamy caramel with bitter onset and long creamy sweet caramel evolution into long candy… very very delicious. Subtle faint smoke very long candy finish. Chest bubbling with peaceful feeling of harmony.
Third infusion is a bitter peachy fruity with caramel subtle smoke and long candy finish! Cooled down it is a peachy caramel candy evolution of tastes with a very mild smoke and moderate bitterness. Long candy sweet finish is really nice. Big qi swells up like energy building in the chest.
Fourth has a bitter peachy caramel with very long candy sweet finish almost like those fuzzy peachy candies. Big qi swelling and face flushing with up lifting deep energy charge with high feeling.
Fifth infusion peachy sweet caramel mild bitter smoke. Very delicious long evolving sweet taste of peach, candy and caramel. Mild bitter and faint smoke. Chalky fluffy mild mouthfeel and strong space out Qi with build up deep charge. Face warming qi.
6th is moderate bitter caramel candy. Very sweet almost a strawberries creamy peaches underneath. Big chest bubbling even in diaphragm.
7th infusion is sweet peachy ashy coco slight pucker tight mouth and weeks roof. Big qi building with face warming and sweating. Relaxing uselessness feeling.
8th peachy ashy long sweet taste less bitterness. Less complex sweet taste now and more slight gripping sandy mouthfeel. Faint coco flavours in moderate bitter taste. Unless relaxing happening with low productivity at work now!
9th is a sweet bitter woody taste coco flavor is faint more sweet peachy bitter woody balance. Big qi building with lazy relaxing.
10th is a bitter woody some faint coco dry woody sweet underneath but bitterness overtakes it now… chest flutters and face sweats…. Deep useless relaxing.
Still lots of power left in these but too bitter so I put them into an overnight thermos… the next morning it gives off vibrant bright sweetness with bitter woody coco chocolate finish. Flat tongue mouthfeel. Strong warming face sweats.
Put into another days long thermos steep it is still oily resin woody rich deep chocolate and bitter sweet coco layers with background smoke…. Deep and delicious. Big Qi relaxing and mind deep contemplation.
I push it again into a days long thermos… it is a creamy dense caramel but mainly coco bittersweet. Viscus thick chalky mouthfeel but not at all hard or gripping. Bitterness but no astringency.
Overall the strong rich dense bittersweet taste is really good and the lazy relaxing low productivity Qi is really nice. I like this one a lot.
Peace

Heh, sounds good. My usual quibble with this tea is that it's lacking in durability.
