2005 Yang Qing Hao Yiwu Cha Wang (Houde Stored)

This 2005 Yang Qing Hao Cha Wang sample is not from Yang’s storage it’s been dry stored by Houde in Huston for a few decades-ish.  I sampled it a few years ago here on the blog here but thought to retaste as I go through the Yang Qing Hao experience here…

Dry leaves have a sweet faint woody almost purfume spice.

Rinsed leaves have a purfume strawberries and almost resin odour.

First infusion has a woody sweet resin taste. With a faint spice finish.  Long sweet raisin and resin… ha. Dried grit raisin with calm and chest beats slowness. Peaceful mind release.

Second infusion has a perfume spice strawberries mild sweet taste. Sort of strawberry jam with cooling throat. Sweet slight raisins and slight resin. Slight tight feeling in the mouth and throat calming peaceful bliss moderate Qi feeling.

Third infusion has a strawberries mild woody resin taste creamy spice the flavour is a bit lighter and less dense than many other Yang Qing Hao.  Bubbling light chest and slower heart beats with blissed out peaceful feeling. Cooled down has a bit more mild sweetness melon, cherry, strawberry with spice and perfume resin.  Bubbling light chest and slower heart beats beats.  Faint candy return.

Fourth is left to cool with a chalky gritty creamy talc.  Strawberry mild creamy almost candy finish.  Happy bliss vibes.  Mild chest feeling.  Smooth enjoyable Yiwu that is maybe a bit lacking in bodyfeeling but others wise a nice solid Yiwu experience.

Fifth has a chalky sweet talc sandy woody taste.  Mild purfume.  Chill peaceful relaxing vibes.  Woody spice purfume base mild taste with a soft barley drying sandy mouthfeel.

Sixth infusion has a watery mild sweet strawberry talc.  Soft sandy mouthfeel with some slow chest beats.  Slight dry feeling in the mouth.  Chill vibes. Watery sweet finish.

Seventh has a woody spice talc mild flavour with a watery mild sweetness in the finish. Sandy dry mouthfeel.

8th is a long mug steeping and is oily light very high notes light fluffy almost candy sweetness.  Light crisp high notes pop still.  Candy long fade outs.

Overall a nice solid Yiwu very easy to drink and no fuss feel good puerh but doesn’t dazzle and dazzle like most Yang Qing Hao with more a moderate and less complex Qi sensations as we have been used to being rather spoiled by other Yang Qing Hao productions.  However, their is a steady feeling of blissful happiness that carries me throughout this day on the Qi….

Peace
