2006 Yang Qing Hao Tian Hsiang Pao Pin

This 2006 Yang Qing Hao Tian Xiang Baopin goes for $390.00 for super big 600g cake or $0.65/g…. This is another I’ve always wanted to try…

Dry leaves have a creamy woody almost metalic odour.

Rinsed leaves have a sweet darker cherry bread sweetness.

First infusion is a watery very mild sweet icing sugar almost fruity water.  Some faint icing sugar finish slight cool breath. Faint mild watery with talc creamy sweet finish. Soft sticky mild lips.  Peaceful feeling with mild chest upward Qi motion.

Second infusion left to cool is sweet cooling pungent minty oily watery mouthfeeling.  Almost floral almost fruity sweet sort of mild icing sugar sweetness with mild deep throat opening.  Peaceful almost calling trance.

Third infusion has an oily creamy icing sugar almost vegital minty mild sweet onset with mild deep throat opening hard to grasp taste that is mainly sweet and pungent sort of floral creamy.  Peaceful feeling with shoulders tingling and upwards chest and shoulders movement.

Fourth infusion has a creamy chalky mild coco chocolate taste.  Cooled down it has a milk chocolate cake taste.  Peaceful rising feeling.

Fifth infusion has a creamy chocolate oily wet mouth taste.  Oily wet coco taste.  Soft mouthfeel and faint deep throat opening.

6th infusion left to cool is a sweet wet watery taste with lingering and developing dark cocoa taste in wet mouth.  Upward movement peaceful feeling. Oily mouthfeel some deeper throat oily flavours of sweet coco.

7th has a smooth coco almost vegital taste with oily wet coating returning mild coco.  Peaceful uplifting qi.

8th is a long mug steeping and it has a resin coco almost floral taste with rising upward energy as if the chest and throat are moving up to the head… wild unique and very distinct body feelings Throughout the session here.  I really like this part of this tea.

…. Might pick one of these up next time…

Peace
