2006 Yang Qing Hao Qi Xiang:Again!

This is a go to drinker yea in my house. I like the unpredictable blend of this one which I have wrote about a few times previously on this blog…

From purchase a few years ago from Yang’s storage…Dry leaves have a sweet woody almost floral sweet odour with faint deeper leaf peat odours.

Rinsed leaves have a very sweet creamy floral almost salty pungent odour…, yummy

First infusion has a creamy complex salty woody metalic floral complex blended taste … lots of things… mainly lots of layered sweet taste creamy and candy and floral… silty full sticky lips and deep throat mild opening feeling complex again! Floating and mind expanding bodyfeeling.  Strong chest beats feel enlivening.  Strong energy feeling!

Second infusion is a creamy salty woody dirt creamy sweet deep dark and light all in one with a silty slight puckering dry lips and slight cooling opening throat.  Creamy floral almost reminds me that there must be more ManZhuang in this blend some infusions.  Wet mouth and slight dry balance in mouth with an overall complex taste feel and Qi big chest beats energy with uplifting body and shoulders face tingling.

Third infusion has a very sweet melon creamy sweet onset with a bready salty finish.  Salivating and wetness with sticky driness.  Strong chest beats energy. Floating levitating energizing. Clear focus mind and vision happy feeling- complex lots of things going on at once. Cooled down infusion is very cherry creamy pastry sweet with cake creamy candy sweet taste over salty woody layers with cool mild pungent sweet lingering.

Fourth infusion has a sweet honey creamy salty woody layers.  Big beats in the chest and energetic uplift.  Cooled down it tastes real sweet with a fruity melon creamy sweet pastry bready taste.  Woody salty depth.  Uplifting and relaxing with deep sighs.

5th is salty woody sweet bread pastry mouthwater saliva producing sticky lips.  Complex taste tilts toward sweetness. Qi is mainly energizing but also relaxing.  Mouthfeel is full salivating slight sticky lips.

6th is left to cool is a sweet creamy woody savory with a cake pastry sweet finish that increasingly reminds me of Manzhuan.  Long candy creamy cake aftertaste. Chalky mouthfeel with sticky lips.  Creamy sweet chalky almost dark coco and cake savory. Upbeat and energetic but also slightly relaxing.

7th has a sour sweet fruity mellon taste savory base with woody but mainly layered sweet tastes nice sweetness and pastry bready sweet taste. Nice aftertaste of sweet candy breads salty creamy fruits.  Uplifting and relaxing with face relax and shoulders with mild chest beats and feeling.  Cooled down it is a creamy sweet initial taste that is supported by a savory salty base in a chalky full mouthfeel some mild deep throat opening and lingering candy creamy sweet tastes.

8th left to cool is sweet honey creamy candy bready pastry…. Lots of layering of sweetness.  Longer sweet mold finish. Spacy relaxing feeling here.

9th oops left the water on the leaves for a few minutes there… strong cherry plum fruity sweet with bitterness and some astringency.. sour cherries taste.., full mouthfeel with savoury body…pops of sweet taste saliva producing a bit dry and sticky in the mouth cooling deep throat pastry sweet finish.

10th I put into a long mug steeping… it is woody salty savoury with a deeper sweetness. Some bitter coco and mild astringency.  Silty full mouthfeeling.  Deep dark tasting clouds sweetness.

What’s not to love about this one?

Again please!

Peace

L
